WWW: It’s great that your blog is set up and your fruit bowl looks excellent. I’m delighted you want to learn to edit and make short films as we will definitely be working on video editing later in the course. The challenge now is to work on a few basic skills to help us aim for those higher grades next year.

EBI: Currently, your First 10 Questions work is missing the last question on the Doctor Who clip so the first priority is to make sure it is completed and posted to your blog:

First 10 questions: https://mediamacguffingcseyear1.blogspot.com/2023/09/welcome-to-gcse-media.html

Once you have this work completed, the only other point I would make is to keep an eye on your written English. Spelling, punctuation and grammar is so important across all of your GCSEs and particularly for work on the computer you can Blogger, Word or the internet to check and improve the accuracy of your written English. This will massively help you over the next two years!

LR: Post the missing/incomplete piece of work.

Then, create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.

Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?
